Organizational structure

In accordance with the G.O. no 26/2000, the Csík LEADER Association has the following organizational structure:

General Assembly and the Board of Directors.

The General Assembly is the advisory body of the association, composed of all the members and has the following main competencies:
a) to accept the strategy and the general objectives of the LAG
b) to elect and revoke the elected committee members
c) to decide upon the strategy and objectives of the LAG
d) to approve the budget and the balance of payments
e) to elect and revoke the Board of Directors
f) to elect and revoke the censor and the censor committee
g) to establish branch offices in the country and abroad
h) to issue the deed of association and the statutes
i) to dissolve and liquidate the Association
j) based on the proposal of the Board of Directors, to approve the registration fee and the annual membership fee
k) other responsibilities and tasks set by the General Assembly and specified in the statute

The General Assembly convenes annually as many times as need. The Assembly has the right to monitor the Board of Directors, the censor, the evaluation committee and the Technical apparatus.

The General Assembly can be congregated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors or by a written request of one-third of the members.

The General Assembly can be convened by a written request at least 10 days prior to the meeting date. The request must specify the venue, exact date, time and the agenda. In order the Assembly to legally operate, two-third of the members must be present at the first meeting session. Otherwise, a new meeting will be held in five days during which the ÿpresent members can take decision by majority vote. Each member of the General Assembly has the right to one vote.

The General Assembly accepts decisions by majority vote. In case of an equal number of votes the Chairman will have a casting vote.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the implementation of decisions taken by the General Assembly. The Board of Directors of the LAG is elected from its members. Members of the Board can be persons outside the Association representing not more than one-quarter of the total members. The Board consists of 9 members, appointed by the General Assembly. The period of office of a member of the Board expires 5 years after the date of appointment. The Board is responsible to ensure the representation of the members.

The Board of Directors consists of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Secretary and 6 members. The Board elects the Chairman from among its members. Each member of the Board has the right to one vote.

The period of office of the Board of Directors expires before the due date upon resignation, death, withdrawal, or if the association, represented by the member, loses its legal personality, or the General Assembly withdraws or cancels the membership.

The Board of Directors is responsible for:

a) presents to the General Assembly the activity report, the financial report, the accounting balance as well as the financial and activity plans
b) performs legal acts on the behalf of the Association
c) accepts the organizational structure, staff policy of the Association, in accordance with the statute
